It’s been a while since I’ve shared a beauty post, and after a good long stretch of using the same products every day, I’ve added a few new things into the mix for the summer that I want to share with you! These days I’m all about a simple and fuss-free routine that leaves me looking fresh. Peachy tones always speak to me during the warmer months, as well as light fresh scents. I have four products to tell you about today, so let’s jump right in!

Currently the bulk of my face makeup is coming from the Jane Iredale Pure & Simple Makeup Kit. I was recently sent this sweet little kit through Influenster, and I love the products that are included, particularly the shimmery eye shadows and warm peachy blush. The powdered foundations are a great additional step when I need a little extra coverage during the summer heat and humidity. Jane Iredale is a beautiful clean brand that is cruelty-free and utilizes organic ingredients. I can’t wait to try more from their line!

For lipstick, I’m in love with the Burt’s Bees lipstick in Blush Basin. It’s made of 100% natural ingredients, and is one of the most comfortable and moisturizing lip products I’ve ever worn. The shade Blush Basin is nearly identical to my natural lip color, but adds a slightly warmer hue that I love this time of year. Burt’s Bees lipsticks are available in 18 shades, and only $6.99 at Target!

While I was in Palm Springs, I purchased a new fragrance at Anthropologie: Stella Eau de Parfum by Tocca. It’s a lovely combination of fresh and floral, and has a hint of citrus which is one of my favorite scents. The Tocca website describes the fragrence as a blend of blood orange, spicy lily, freesia, and sandalwood, inspired by Italy. I love the 1920s inspired Italian-made bottle, and that the fragrance itself is made in the USA.

Butter London’s Kerfuffle nail polish is a long-time summer favorite of mine. Each year I break out this punchy color for a little touch of summer that’s not too over-the-top. Butter London nail polishes are some of my favorites because they are non-toxic, 8-free (no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, or triphenyl phosphate,) and have a beautiful range of colors. tocca-fragrance cruelty-free-summer-beauty-favorites
