6 Romantic Dresses for Spring

6-romantic-spring-dresses-ethically-madeAs spring approaches I often find myself drawn to more romantic and bohemian pieces, specifically when it comes to dresses. There’s just nothing like a flowy fun dress when the weather warms up. Finding  more feminine pieces in the world of ethical and eco-friendly fashion can be challenging, but it’s definitely not impossible, so today I’ve rounded up six of my favorite romantic dresses for the new season.

From dramatic maxi lengths, to sweet daytime frocks, let’s talk dresses.

1 // This butter yellow wrap dress by Christy Dawn is romantic spring perfection.

I love hi-low hem, and the rayon fabric has such a beautiful drape. I can see this dress going from a fancy spring wedding to a more casual evening out with the addition of a denim jacket.

2 // For a casual spring dress, I love this gauze shirt dress from Reformation.

The pockets and bow belt add a sweet vintage feel, but the stripes and cream color keep things feeling fresh and trendy. I think this would be the perfect picnic dress with some oversized sunglasses and simple slide sandals.

3 // The Piper Dress by Christy Dawn is the epitome of a classic day dress.

It’s made of a plaid, textured cotton, and features sweet shell buttons up the structured bodice. I can totally see Grace Kelly wearing something just like this!

4 // It’s no secret that I love stripes, and this sweet dress by Thought features tonal horizontal stripes.

The slightly oversized fit gives this dress a boho silhouette without feeling dowdy, and the hemp material is perfect for those warmer days.

5 // Reformation’s romantic wrap dresses are so beautiful, and the color of this floor length blue gown has stolen my heart.

If you’re looking for the perfect thing for an evening wedding or more formal event, this dress would be perfect.

6 // People Tree always has a great collection of dresses, and for spring I’m loving this blue wrap dress.

It is made from handwoven organic cotton in a pretty light blue shade, and I love the embroidered details across the waist sash. This would be a great versatile piece for a spring capsule wardrobe!

Do you have a favorite spring dress? Are you planning on getting anything new for the new season? I’d love to hear!
