My intention in writing about fashion ethics is never to make you feel guilty somehow about where you shop or what you buy, but rather to provide you with amazing alternative resources to traditional brands in case you are interested in them! I’m new to this journey, and I want to share this part of my life here on my blog. In the spirit of this intention, today I’m sharing a list of things that look beautiful and amazing to me, and that also just so happen to be ethically produced or accessible. It’s a win-win, am I right?
-I’ve been on the lookout for a straw boater style hat. This one from Reformation with a black grosgrain ribbon looks perfect for keeping off that summertime sunshine.
-It’s been quite a while since I’ve bought a pair of sunglasses– I just don’t think about them very often. I love this peachy pair from Warby Parker.
-Is it too ridiculous to link to the same sandals in two posts in a row? No? Good. Seriously though, how gorgeous and versatile are these slides from Everlane? All of their shoes are made in Italy and look so beautiful and well made.
-I mentioned on Twitter the other day that I’ve been dreaming of a vintage Coach bag lately, and this is the specific one I’ve been eyeing. It’s available from Dear Golden Vintage and is called the Regina bag. I love the turn lock on the front and the cross-body strap.
-I first heard of People Tree when I saw The True Cost, and I was surprised to find such a wonderful selection of dresses on their site. This little grey knit number looks like the perfect thing for throwing on during the warmer months.
-Of course I had to include a few beauty products. 😉 I’m absolutely loving my recent Juice Beauty purchases, and this lip gloss has caught my eye also. I love the ingredients in their products and the fact that they are cruelty free. Lip gloss and tinted lip balms just scream summer to me.
-I ran across this face moisturizer from Nourish Organics while browsing a natural beauty site recently. If I’m honest, the cute packaging is what made me click to read more, but this product also has some great ingredients like rose water and argan. I’d love to try it!
What are some things on your summer wishlist? I’d love to hear!
