August Photo a Day: Round 2

I have a confession to make. I had to play some catch up on my photo taking this week. Woopsie. In my defense I was on the road at the beginning of the week, and am now back in Arkansas! It welcomed me back with a lovely rain storm, something I always miss when I’m in California. Now on to the photos!

I came back to a backyard full of Zinnias. I used to plant these in my “garden” when I was little, and still love them.

My best friend and I went to a lovely local coffee shop one morning and got a pot of Earl Grey tea. We spent about two hours just chatting and sipping. A perfect morning if you ask me!
This means a lot to me:
This ring was a gift from my parents for my sixteenth birthday. I’ve worn it almost everyday since then, and it always makes me think of them. It is my birthstone, the Ruby in case you were curious. 🙂

A sign:
Not technically a sign, or the most lovely photo, but it will do. I went thrifting this week! Let me know if you want to see a haul on my YouTube channel!

Oh, you know…just me being awkward. 😉
2 o’clock:
Uncreative, but it’s a pretty watch.
Alright y’all, I made this yesterday. And it was the best thing ever. It’s a salted caramel hot chocolate. Mmmmmm. I turned our kitchen into a bit of a Starbucks during the rain storm, and this was one of the results. I might just be making it again tonight…

How has your week been? Let me know in the comments!
