Autumn Simplicity

Quince & Co Pathway Scarf

Happy Tuesday friends!

When the weather starts to cool, I find myself drawn to a very simple outfit formula; a pullover sweater, jeans, and boots. Today I tried to add a bit of flair to an extremely simple and minimal look by adding a richly colored scarf, deep makeup tones, and my favorite bag and jewelry pieces. The result is comfortable, cozy, minimal, but still unique. I love all of the chunky knitted items in this look as well as the burgundy accents!

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you’ve probably read about my unexpected incident this weekend. If not, my car was hit on my way home Saturday evening! Those of you who have been here for a while know about my struggle with driving, but thankfully I haven’t felt overly anxious when I’ve driven since the accident occurred. I could write more about that here, but for the sake of expediency I’ll just say that as scary as it was, I’m determined to not let something out of my control determine my courage.

Fall is taking it’s own sweet time in arriving here in Little Rock, but we’ve had some lovely cool mornings and evenings. I’m enjoying this slow transition, and since I grew up in the Palm Springs desert, any change of seasons still seems pretty amazing!

  1. I love this outfit!!! Sooo cute and fall-ish, and totally my kinda go-to fall outfit too! I’m sorry to hear you got in a car accident – especially because I know you’ve experienced a lot of driving anxiety! Thank goodness it was just a minor accident and that no one was hurt, though. <3
