Comfort & Coziness
It’s time for another installment of 5 Wardrobe Essentials, and today I’m excited to introduce you to Emily DeLong, creator of Margu Design. Emily is a designer and seamstress based out of Northwest Arkansas, and I’m excited for us to get a slow fashion creator’s perspective on wardrobe essentials. Her beautiful line, Margu, focuses on impeccable attention to detail, sustainable practices, and is all cut and sewn in her Arkansas studio. Margu’s Fall/Winter collection was released last month, and each piece is just exquisite. Be sure to hop over and check it out once you’ve read this post! Emily has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to ethical and sustainable fashion, and I know you’ll enjoy reading about her favorites today.
Today’s guest for 5 Wardrobe Essentials is one of my favorite ladies to follow on Instagram, Hannah Briggs of Thistle Harvest. Not only is her Instagram account beautiful and inspiring, she also has a wonderful blog discussing everything from interior decorating to vintage dresses. Every time I get a chance to read her writing, I feel like I’ve just met a friend for coffee and a chat. Hannah is a fellow thrifter, reader, and coffee drinker, and I know you will love checking out her wonderful work as well as reading about her style essentials here today!
Camel & Cashmere
Today I’m excited to kick off a series of guest posts exploring different perspectives on wardrobe essentials. Since we each have different styles, climates, and occasions to dress for, there is so much we can learn from other women’s wardrobes, and over the next five weeks we will be getting to peek into a few of my favorites. Our first guest poster is one of my favorite slow fashion Instagramers, Aléna Tran. I know you will love reading her thoughts, seeing her amazing style, and checking out her beautiful and inspiring Instagram account.
