While in Europe, I got to visit Italy for the first time, and it was pretty dreamy. We drove in from Austria, and started our visit in Venice, or Venezia if you’re Italian. It completely blew away my expectations, and I even loved the quintessential tourist activities. From gondolas to gelato, Italy is magical, and these were some of my favorite moments.

This has been such a fun creative exercise for me, but I’m so excited to have my full closet to pick from again tomorrow. I love how this challenge has pushed me to try new ways to wear the items in my closet, and today’s look is one of my favorite new combinations. It’s made of up of two pieces I would never have thought to put together outside of the 10×10 restrictions, and I love how it looks. The combination of a fitted top and full skirt is a nod to some of my favorite vintage looks,

Spring 10×10 Style Challenge: Look No. 9

audrey hepburn inspired fashion blog It’s the second to last day of my spring 10×10 style challenge, and today I’m sharing another casual look. As I mentioned last week, Thursday’s are all about comfort and ease for me, and today was no exception. Even though this outfit is comprised of very basic pieces, I love the classic feel it has. It’s the kind of thing that is definitely laid back, but still has a touch of elegance. I have to admit I did find myself itching to wear a different top then those I chose for my challenge, but I stuck with it, and I’m happy with the result. Plus it’s just one more day until I get to play around with every piece in my closet!

This 10×10 challenge is quickly coming to an end, and I’ve had so much fun mixing up my wardrobe over the past two weeks! I’m back today with look 8, and this look is one of my personal favorites so far. It’s the kind of thing I can totally see myself wearing while wondering around a European city (I’ve got a mild case of wanderlust,) but it lends a touch of European elegance to my everyday life. At its root, this outfit is basically just a good old-fashioned jeans and tee combo, but the design and cut of each piece make it more interesting, and it looks like it took much more effort than it did.

It’s fresh, classic, and perfect for spring.
