Christmas Party Beauty Picks

Holiday Beauty Products

One of the things I love about the festive season is the excuse to break out some of my favorite holiday beauty products. Most of the year I don’t go for sparkle, but similar to my attitude with clothes, come Christmas, give me all the glitter! That said, I think there are some very chic and sophisticated ways to wear glitter, and today I’m sharing my favorite products for holiday sparkle and shine that still feel polished and elegant.

Let’s break out the glitz and glamor, shall we?

Butter London Dubs Nail Polish

All about the eyes

For my eyes, I love the Charlotte Tilbury Uptown Girl Palette. It contains a shimmery cream shade, two lovely greys, and stunning glitter. All of the shades combine together for the perfect frosty winter look and look wonderful with a red lipstick

Speaking of red lipstick

My red lip pick this year is the BITE Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon in the shade Red Velvet. This shade is a cheerful and festive red sure to brighten up any winter day, and the formula for this color is amazing. I love that it lasts without fading in patches.

Nailed it

The holiday season is the only time I break out my shimmery and glittery nail polishes, but to keep them a little more elegant, I love to wear neutral shimmer and glitter colors. My two favorites are both from Butter London: Dubs is a champagne glitter that looks amazing as an accent color for minimalist nail art and Champers is a shimmer/metallic color in the same tone. I love pairing Champers with a wine red polish! *Since putting this post together, both of these colors seem to be unavailable! All Hail the Queen is similar to Champers, and Lucy in the Sky is similar to Dubs.

I love to wear one of these products with my everyday makeup for a punch of festivity, or to wear them all together for a real Christmas look.

Do you have products you reach for each holiday season? What’s your perfect red lipstick? I’d love to hear!
