Cozy Things

Nothing says cozy to me quite like a book, a cup of tea, and a knitting project. Today I’m here to talk about two of those three things!

cozy-2 cozy-3 cozy-4I received Adrianna Adarme’s book called The Year of Cozy for Christmas this year, and I love flipping through it. It’s full of gorgeous photography, fun recipes, and ideas for each month of the year. I’m a sucker for books like this. Adrianna is the founder of the wonderful food blog, A Cozy Kitchen, and collecting other blogger’s books is one of me favorite things. Her Instagram is pretty delicious as well!

I’ve recently started a new knitting project: a pair of socks in a super pretty lace pattern! The pattern is called Petit Fours, and is available from Quince & Co. I’m knitting them up in the prettiest seafoam yarn from my stash, and it’s so soft and cozy. I love the little twisting faux cables and the zig-zag lace. The pattern is really enjoyable to knit, and I love working on these while listening to audio books (Rosamund Pike’s Audible recording of Pride and Prejudice is so good!) or watching TV. I can’t wait to have them finished!

What are some of your favorite wintertime activities? I’d love to hear! 🙂

  1. Your socks are gorgeous! Quince & Co has the best patterns.
I’ve been wanting to listen to Rosamund Pike’s recording of P&P, but so far I haven’t been able to justify spending that much money on one audiobook. 😛

    1. Thanks Emily! I’m hoping they turn out well! I’ve gotten a little further on the lace, and it’s a really fun pattern! I’ve been subscribed to audible for a while, but I put it on hold because it really does add up in the price department. 🙂
I hope you have a great weekend!
