Favorite Winter Accessories

Anthropologie X BaubleBar Seastone Earrings

As the winter season approaches, I’ve found myself drawn to certain accessories in blue, grey, and cream colors. I love adding extra accessories in the winter to play up the layered looks I usually end up wearing, and today I want to share a few current favorites– two cold weather pieces, and some jewelry. These pieces compliment my simple wardrobe perfectly, and I love the interest they add to a look.

Let’s talk icy tones and a touch of sparkle!

Top it off

I recently knit up a little cream colored cabled beanie, and I love how warm it is. It’s made from a cozy American grown wool, and has a fluffy bobble for a bit of fun. I took inspiration from several hats I’ve seen at Anthropologie, and I love the result. See the pattern I used here, and the yarn here.

Like a Glove

These grey and cream fingerless gloves from J. Crew have been in my wardrobe for years, and I love how soft they are. They are great for the in-between days when it’s not too cold, but you want something a bit extra for warmth.

Sparkle & shine

For jewelry, I’m loving my Seastone set from Anthropologie X BaubleBar. I’ve had these for a while, but I find the mint color and gems look so wintry and festive. I don’t usually wear them together, but I love adding one or the other to a variety of looks. I even like pinning one of the earrings to my winter hat for a little bit of sparkle and detail!

  1. That little bobble hat is too cute! I don’t know why, because I feel like they’re everywhere, but I always have such trouble finding cute winter hats! Maybe I’m just picky? And in the fall/winter I definitely lean towards black, white, gray, and shades of blue, with a bit of burgundy/purple (which I would do more of, but I feel like it’s so close to my hair color, haha!).
