I’ve read Meredith’s blog One Sheepish Girl for several years, and it’s one of my all time favorite reads, so naturally when she came out with a book of crochet patterns I had to get it. When I first looked through the book, my favorite design was this little tea cozy. It reminds me of Green Gables or Orchard House and I think it is adorable. I use a tea cozy all the time because it takes me a good bit of time to make it through a pot of tea, so I knew this would be a practical and fun project for me.

I used acrylic yarn, and chose colors that coordinated with my tea set. My friend Brynna brought me this perfect Cath Kidston set after spending a semester in England, and I love it so much!

The actual pattern for the tea cozy was easy to follow, and once I got a good start on it, it went together quickly. I decided to add some embroidery to the front because I’m pretty much obsessed with all things floral. I love how it turned out! If you are looking for some great creative crochet ideas I highly recommend Crochet with One Sheepish Girl. All of the patterns are super cute!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Have you finished any projects lately? I’d love to hear about them!
