From the Dressing Table: My Summer Nail Polish Favorites

summer-nail-polishSummer is officially here, and that means I’m breaking out all of my favorite fun summer nail polish shades. If there is ever a time for bright nail colors, that time is definitely now! I’ve rounded five polishes that I’ve already been wearing a lot this season to share today. deborah-lippmann-flowers-in-her-hair– Deborah Lippman’s Flowers in Her Hair is my idea of a perfect mint green color: not too blue, and not too green. The formulation of this shade is lovely, and it tends to wear nicely on my nails. It’s one I keep coming back to!essie-saltwater-happy-Essie’s Saltwater Happy is such a fun shade, and the name just screams summertime. It is a milky periwinkle color that looks great on the nails. This is one of the shades from Essie’s summer collection this year which I highly recommend checking out before it sells out! This color has a great opaque formula, and I love it!nails-inc-nailkale-Nails Inc.’s Marylebone High Street is a pretty peach that has a summery bright kick to it. It’s understated, but still great for this season. The formula is really nice, and I have to mention how high quality the packaging of these polishes are! The bottles are so heavy! essie-sunset-sneaks-Essie’s Sunset Sneaks is a coral red that has quickly become a new favorite of mine. I was on the hunt for a red toned color that was more summer appropriate than my darker shades and this is it! Again, this shade is part of the new summer collection, so do check it out soon if you are interested. As always, the formula is great on this color!essie-topless-barefoot-Essie’s Topless & Barefoot is my go to neutral color for when my nails need a break from all of these bright shades. It’s a pretty nude with a touch of pink that makes it work well on my fair skin. Again, this polish has a great formula and wears nicely. Plus it reminds of the beach which makes me happy!

And that’s it for my summer nail polish picks! What colors are you loving for summer this year? I’d love to hear!
