My last week at home!

Hi everyone! I thought I would update you guys on my life a little bit:-)
Like the title says, this is my last week at home! I really can’t believe it. In some ways time has dragged on, but in others it has flown. I’m sad, scared, and nervous, but I’m also happy, excited, and hopeful for the school year. I sound like such a typical girl…thinking opposite things simultaneously.

My college has an event for new students which is next week, so I’m looking forward to meeting my roommate and other people too! I’m not to sure how much posting I will be getting done for a while. I hope that I will be able to post often, but we shall see how things go. I mean, school can’t take up every moment, right? I can’t (and can) wait for the semester to start! It is going to be such an adventure, and I’m excited to see what God has planned for me.

So this week is going to be spent packing up my room. I’ve already started on that. All the books have been packed up, and the tea sets and fabric are making their respective ways into boxes. Hopefully I will be able to get it done quickly so I can enjoy this week. My brother and I are headed back across the country next week, and the rest of our family will follow later, so we will have a few weeks to spend together before school actually starts. That’s a happy thing!

It looks so weird to see all of my stuff in boxes. For someone who has moved as much as I have, you wouldn’t think it would be weird, but packing up my whole life is an interesting project. You find so much random stuff! So anyway, there is a random jumbled together post about what I’m up to. I’m sure I will have a lot of interesting college related stuff to share with you soon. I’m just hoping I can keep up with my creative endeavors. To my student friends who are crafty, do you find time for projects during the school year? I hope you all are having a lovely week, and I will talk to you all soon!
Love,
Lauren:-)

  1. That sounds exciting! I’m getting ready to finish up the rest of my bachelor’s degree at a university, but I’ve decided to take all my classes online, rather than moving to Virginia! But I have always thought it would be fun to stay in a dorm.

I do actually have quite a bit of crafting time…not as much as I’d like, but enough to do a little each week! It’s a really great break from studying.(: What I do each day is make a schedule of all the homework that needs to be done, and either in-between or after I’m allowed to work on my hobbies.(:

Have fun! Best of luck to you!
