The October Recap & 5 Things I’ll do in November

This year is flying by at an alarmingly fast rate! It’s November- can you believe it? NOVEMBER! Seriously, I blinked and October was gone.

{Super cute card I’m sending out today from Lily & Val}

In spite of how quickly the past month passed, it was pretty jam packed. I wrote an exegetical, went to see a stage version of Wait Until Dark, redid a thrift store dress, went hiking, drank way too much coffee, crocheted some fun little things, and spent time with family and friends.

November is the last full month of this school semester which is crazy and wonderful. I am currently a combination of thrilled and terrified at the prospect of another semester coming to a close. I can’t wait to finish my classes, but I also don’t know how I will possibly get everything done by the last week. This month also marks the beginning of the holiday season, my absolute favorite time of year. I am so excited for Thanksgiving in just a few short weeks. Family and food- what could be better?

Here are some goals I have this month

1. write notes to friends

2. bake something delicious

3. be more consistent in journaling

4. make a point to pray for my siblings

5. finish a knitting project

What are your November plans friends?

  1. Great list! My plans for November are a bit scattered at the moment, but all in all I want to accomplish three things: fill my art journal with collages and such, write letters to my two best friends, and pray more — for my husband, siblings, son, and anyone else who needs it.

    Have a blessed day, friend 🙂
