This past Saturday my sisters and I headed down to our local art center to check out a Renoir painting temporarily on display. I’ve always loved museums, and I must say our local one is pretty stellar. The collection includes works by Monet, Renoir, and Picasso, and I find it so inspiring to walk around. For a day of weekend adventuring, I went with a comfortable outfit that I’ve been loving lately.
I recently found this denim jacket on ThredUp, and have been pleasantly surprised by how summer-appropriate it is! It keeps the heat off and is very breathable– I’ve been pairing it with several different pieces in my wardrobe lately. I love it with this little white eyelet cotton skirt. It’s breezy and feminine, and I think it’s a great juxtaposition with the jacket. Of course, since I was at an art center, I wore a piece by my favorite artist. This Paper Crown by Rifle Paper Company top is one of my favorite pieces I own. It’s so special to me to be able to wear something with such beautiful artwork on it. I finished off the look with simple brown sandals. These have a tiny wedge which keeps them easy to wear, but gives a bit of a polish. You might even say that they- wait for it— elevate the look! Sorry, I’ll stop.
