Hello lovelies! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter celebrating how much Christ loves you! I know we sure have at my house.
Today, I’m doing my first outfit post! I’m sure you have probably noticed that I don’t put pictures of myself on here for privacy purposes. However, I’ve come up with a way to do outfit posts and still protect my face. I will simply stick my nose in a book. This does double duty- I can show you my outfits, and I can write a little bit about the book!
I know I’m not the most stylish person in the world, but I’m learning! I would appreciate your feedback:-)
This outfit has a vintage flair to it, as that is something I’m loving right now.
Skirt: thrifted Calvin Klein. Cardigan: Lilly Pulitzer. Cami: Old Navy. Shoes: Guess (from DSW.)
My skirt has an interesting history. I had bought the same skirt about a year ago at Macy’s for about thirty bucks. Then it shrunk and became to short. I was really sad, and passed it on to my younger sister. Then recently my mom was thrifting and found the exact same skirt only a size up for about three dollars! I was so excited to have my skirt back. It has pockets, by the way! 🙂
Oh, and the book is The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. It’s one of my favorite children’s stories, and I tend to associate it with Easter and Springtime. Not that it has anything to do with Easter in a Christian way, but I did used to get chocolate Peter Rabbits at Easter.
I hope you all have a wonderful evening!
