The September Recap & 5 Things I’ll do in October

Hi friends, it’s been a while!

October is here, and I can not believe how quickly this semester is passing by! September was full of hustle and bustle but in good way. I learned a lot about God’s faithfulness, and I’m so thankful that he is always faithful no matter how much or how little I trust him. In September I wrote a lot, learned a lot of music, drank far too much coffee, read quite a bit, studied a lot, spent time with great friends, listened to The Honey Trees and Mumford and Sons almost constantly, and started some fun new knitting projects.

As I look forward into the month of October, I’m excited. My fall break is later this week, and I can’t wait to have a few days off. The weather at this time of year is so beautiful, and I plan to relish every gorgeous day.

Here are five things I hope to do this month:

1. Go hiking.

2. Sew a dress.

3. Crochet something from Crochet with One Sheepish Girl.

4. Get a new profile picture for this blog.

5. Be more intentional in my friendships.

I hope your September was beautiful! What are you looking forward to in October?

  1. Fall is arguably my favorite time of the year; it’s just so pretty-like your blog. This October, I fully intend to go tramping through millions of fallen leaves, and take a leisurely drive with the windows down.
