Sherlock & Socks

sherlockandsocks1sherlockandsocks4 sherlockandsocks2 sherlockandsocks3sherlockandsocks7 sherlockandsocks6 Lately I’ve been watching the BBC series Sherlock. I know I’m late to the game on this one, but I wanted to wait until there were a few seasons out so I would have more than three episodes to watch once I got into it. I’m currently on the last episode of season 2 and have loved it so far.

I’m working on a knitting project that is the perfect companion to watching Sherlock. It is a pair of navy cabled socks made from the pattern Elementary Watson Socks by The Textured Knitter (the pattern is free here!) I’m using a lovely heather yarn from Knit Picks that is super soft and shows the cables off nicely. They are a bit slow going, but a fun project.

Other things I’ve been using a lot include my sweet little British notepad my friend Leanna gave me and of course lots of English Breakfast tea.

I’ll be sure to report back when the socks are done!

What projects have been keeping you busy lately? Any new shows you are loving?

  1. Hey, Lauren. I’m so excited you got into Sherlock! Words cannot describe how happy that show (and this post) makes me. I started watching Castle recently, and I like it a LOT too. Lots of love!
p.s. Your socks are adorable. 🙂
