I love a good classic pair of pajamas, and I especially love them during the holidays. Think Mindy Lahiri and Jessica Day style. They’re comfortable, stylish, and just scream Christmas morning. When I first started to get into ethical fashion, cute pjs were hard to come by, but thankfully, as in most categories, the options have expanded. So if you’re ready to treat yourself (or a friend,) to some holiday pajamas and still shop mindfully, this post is for you!
Christmas is coming faster than I can believe, and I’m feeling the urge to get things done as the holiday approaches. Amid all of the shopping, preparing for guests, and family time, it can be easy to let things become disorganized in December, so before life gets too crazy, I wanted to list out some areas to declutter in my life this month. A lot of these areas are things I wouldn’t feel the need to organize regularly, but will be especially helpful as we approach the holidays. Let’s declutter!
Well friends, it’s Christmas Eve– a foggy, rainy, chilly Christmas Eve around here! What a treasure these days are spent with friends and family. Today I wanted to give you a little peek into some of my Christmas routines, traditions, and favorite things through some festive photos, and of course, wish the merriest most wonderful time to all celebrating.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Christmas is coming oh-so quickly, and today I’m excited to share a fun DIY gift wrap tutorial with you! I recently became aware that most gift wrap is not recyclable, and I wanted to come up with a beautiful way to present gifts that can still be recycled. I came up with this super cute gold polka dotted paper, and it’s so easy to make! All you need is an old grocery bag (I used Whole Foods which is a great size,) and a metallic gold paint pen. You can really customize this paper to be your own unique style, and I love that it’s made from a recycled material and can be recycled again– plus it’s just so pretty!
Grab your crafting supplies and Christmas gifts, and let’s get wrapping!
One of the things I love about the festive season is the excuse to break out some of my favorite holiday beauty products. Most of the year I don’t go for sparkle, but similar to my attitude with clothes, come Christmas, give me all the glitter! That said, I think there are some very chic and sophisticated ways to wear glitter, and today I’m sharing my favorite products for holiday sparkle and shine that still feel polished and elegant.
