7 Ethically Made Handbags for Fall

best-ethical-handbags-fall-2017For Fall & Beyond

Handbags are some of the primary investment pieces in my wardrobe. The work that goes into creating one is taxing and meticulous, often making them more expensive than other items I purchase. While I’m not the type to run out and buy a new bag each season, I am slowly collecting an assortment that serve me well and will last for years. Quality over quantity really rings true. One thing I have discovered as I have researched ethical handbag options is that fair production does not always cost as much as I would expect, and traditional manufacturing of designer bags is sometimes inflated. A high-quality ethically made bag does not need to cost a month’s rent. Today I’m rounding up some of my favorite bags from a mixture of vegan and non-vegan brands. If you are looking to add a classic bag to your wardrobe, I hope you find this post helpful.

Today I thought it would be fun to show you what I bring with me day to day, and how I utilize my collection of small crossbody bags. There are so many people who accessorize effortlessly, but I’m just not one of them. I struggle to make things look purposeful and laid back, so this season I’ve chosen a few pieces to focus on. Hopefully by the end of winter, I’ll be more confident in my skills with accessories. This season I’ll be specifically focusing on scarves and handbags.

Let’s get accessorizing!

Everlane Foldover Crossbody Bag Review

Everlane Foldover Crossbody in Natural: ReviewFor Christmas this year I received a pretty exciting gift: Everlane’s Foldover Crossbody! This bag had been on my wish list since it was released, and I’m so happy to have it in my closet. When I was originally researching this handbag, I struggled to find reviews or information about it, so I wanted to write down my thoughts on it for any of you who might be interested in it! Everlane orders these leather goods from a small factory in Spain that employs around twenty people, and the care and attention to detail really shows in the finished handbag.

Minimal design + blush color = practically perfect!
