All Things Cozy
Happy weekend friends! I hope this Saturday finds you with some time to rest and embrace all things cozy. A chill has come to Little Rock this week, and when I’ve been home, I’ve been huddled up with cozy sweaters and innumerable cups of tea. I spent today helping my grandfather set up a Christmas village, something he used to do every year when I was growing up! This year we set up a miniature London for some holiday events, and it was so special to help him put it together. Over the rest of the weekend I’m looking forward to some reading, music rehearsals, and maybe a little bit of popcorn and Hulu.
Busy Times; Happy Times
It’s the weekend, and I’m excited about it! This week marked my first full week back at teaching, and I’m enjoying getting settled into a routine. It’s so fun to have so many of the same students back this year, and I can’t wait to watch how they grow as pianists. Apart from teaching, I’ve been working on one of my new year’s resolutions this week. I set myself the goal of completing 10 days of The Miracle Morning, which involves a 5 a.m. wake-up time. Right now I’ve finished two days, and although it’s been a challenge to get myself up early, I’m really enjoying the extra quiet morning hours. It’s also helping me get through my reading list, and I’m loving that. This weekend I’m planning to work on a sewing project, (hopefully for a new video tutorial on Sunday!) do more reading, and maybe pay a visit to my favorite local park for a walk with coffee.

An Adventure Abroad
Hi friends! It’s been far too long since I last posted here, and if you follow me on Instagram, you probably know why. I’ve been in Europe for the past two weeks, and I had an absolutely wonderful time! I hadn’t traveled abroad in six years, and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed exploring new places. I visited Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, and England, and I have so many photos that I can’t wait to share here on the blog. Travel has a way of reminding me of who I am and what matters to me, and I’ve returned refreshed and ready to dive in to some creative ideas, and of course, blogging.
It’s hard to believe that it’s already time to reflect on another month, but here I am, typing up a reflection on March! March was such a fun and full month, and I’m so grateful for the good times and memories it held. I’m excited about April, and I’m planning to put out content either here on the blog, or over on the YouTube channel every. single. day. this month! I need the creative boost of producing a lot of material, and I really hope you will enjoy seeing what I create over the next several weeks. If you have any requests for posts or videos, just let me know! As usual, stay tuned to the end of this post for my March favorites video and a peek into the next month.
To start things off, here are some things that brought me joy in the month of March.
February always passes quickly since it’s such a short month, but this year it was so full of activity that it rushed by at an even greater speed! Today I’ll be sharing some of the highlights of my month that are both personal and blog related. Stick around to the end of this post for a little peek at some of my March plans as well as my February favorites video!
But first, here are the memories that brought me joy this month.
