Today is the first day that it actually feels like fall in my city. It’s crisp, cloudy, and blustery outside, and inside, I’m thinking about all things fall wardrobe. This year I’m striving to go back to basics with my fall capsule, and I want to take you along with me. I’m paring things down, making sure everything works together cohesively, and being mindful about new purchases. As I’ve worked through the process of getting my closet in order for the new season, I’ve been thinking a lot about the building blocks of my fall wardrobe. These are the classic pieces I wear year after year, and when they wear out I purchase them in a new iteration. I’ve come up with a list of five classic pieces I love for the autumn season. These could be adapted in so many ways to suit your own personal style, and I hope this list is a helpful start to building your fall wardrobe.

I’ve been dealing with some stressed skin over the passed couple of months. I have sensitive acne prone skin, which is an interesting skin type to create a routine for. Most products formulated for break-outs aren’t formulated for sensitive skin, and vice versa. Thankfully, after a lot of trial and error, I’ve found different natural ways to manage my skin type and keep it in check.
