The Good Things: March

the-good-things-marchIt’s hard to believe that it’s already time to reflect on another month, but here I am, typing up a reflection on March! March was such a fun and full month, and I’m so grateful for the good times and memories it held. I’m excited about April, and I’m planning to put out content either here on the blog, or over on the YouTube channel every. single. day. this month! I need the creative boost of producing a lot of material, and I really hope you will enjoy seeing what I create over the next several weeks. If you have any requests for posts or videos, just let me know! As usual, stay tuned to the end of this post for my March favorites video and a peek into the next month.

To start things off, here are some things that brought me joy in the month of March.

March, 2017

Phantom of the Opera

One of my favorite musicals made a stop in my city, and it was so amazing to have the opportunity to see Phantom on stage! I’ve loved the music from this show since I was in junior high, and seeing it brought me so much wonderful nostalgia. The production was top notch, and I’ve been singing Down Once More at least once a week since that night.

You’ve read about Chicago here and here, but I couldn’t write this post without including a little bit about it. It was so wonderful to spend time with my brother and sister, and travel around one of my favorite places. It’s got me thinking about where I want to go to next!

Over the month of March I put a lot more time into creating video content, and man have I had fun doing it! I managed to put together eight videos during March, and the community that’s being created on the channel brings me so much joy.

I created a hashtag on Instagram in March, and I’ve loved seeing how it’s been used! The premise of the hashtag is that I feature a collage of the photos using it occasionally, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing the positive support these amazing women have for each other.

Life as Usual

Friends, family, coffee, students, friendship international kids, music, yoga, reading, and so much more continue to enrich my life every day, and this season is one I’m so grateful for. It’s taken some time for me to adjust to a more steady life, but every day I’m reminded of how blessed I am in this phase of life.
