The Weekender // No. 11

Anthropologie Shelf StylingHey friends, and happy Sunday! Both my week and my weekend ended up being so full and fun this week, and I’m finding myself pretty tired on this rainy Sunday afternoon. I’m looking forward to having a little time to rest when I get home from rehearsal today. 🙂 I started taking care of international children at a local organization where their moms take English classes, which has been so fun and rewarding. Being involved in the international community is important to me, and I’m so thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with people from different cultures.

I’m really starting to settle into the routine of teaching, and I’m loving it more and more all the time. On top of playing violin in my church’s holiday orchestra, I’m also starting to play keyboard in the band on Sunday mornings. It’s new for me and means I’m getting up early on the weekend, but I’m enjoying learning and making music with other people. Moving into this new phase of life has been uncertain often times, but I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have come and continue to come my way.

In my spare time, I’m planning out as much fashion content as I can for the fall, so get ready!

Some links for your weekend:

-I’m still really loving metallic accents on my nails, and how pretty is this manicure?

-Ingrid Michelson’s new album did not disappoint. I’ve been listening to it off and on over the past two weeks and the songs are so fun!

-Lisa Eldridge’s most recent makeup tutorial is just stunning, and I love that she showcases natural and organic makeup brands! I’m so ready to wear these berry tones.

-Speaking of natural makeup, I love Savannah’s post on natural lipstick options over on A Beautiful Mess.

-Have you guys seen the new monogram mugs from Anthropologie? I just got one last week, and I love it so much! It’s floral and oh so pretty. 😀
