The Weekender // No. 14

Mylo Coffee Co. Little RockHappy weekend friends! It’s been a while since I sat down to type up a weekender post, and I’ve missed it! This week I was so happy to see Friday come. For some reason I really struggled to be motivated at work all week– maybe it was the after effects of being ill? In any case, I’m so looking forward to this weekend and the following week! My brother arrived in town late last night, and the holidays are kicking off for my family. I look forward to Thanksgiving week more and more the older I get. There’s nothing quite as sweet as spending quality time with my family, especially as these times are increasingly rare.

Tonight I’m excited to be attending a symphony concert for the first time this season. I love the music, and I love the excuse to dress up! Sunday’s have become so busy for me this fall with rehearsals, but I’m enjoying making music with some wonderful people. Next week I’m off of work, and it promises to be full of laughter, baking, Christmas movies, and my favorite people. I’m also super excited to be bringing some festive cheer here to the blog! Keep your eyes peeled for some fun posts starting on Tuesday!

Some links for your weekend:

– These cold weather coffee recipes on the Lauren Conrad site look amazing! I’m all about a good coffee confection any time, and even more so in the cooler weather.

-My lovely blogging friend Vicki has recently started a new blog called Basically Beautiful. It’s all about intentional living and is so good! She is currently posting a series on her beauty capsule and I’m just loving it. Be sure to check her out and follow along!

-The Madewell x Food52 home collection is so lovely, made in the USA, and a great place to look for hostess gifts as party season approaches.

-Portland, OR has been on my list of places to visit for ages, so of course I loved living vicariously through New Darlings’ latest travel video. And seriously, Robert and Christina are the cutest couple!

Rifle Paper Co. candles? Candles?! Yes please and thank you very much. I love watching them expand as a lifestyle brand.
