The Weekender // No. 19

national-stripes-day-outfitHappy weekend, and happy April friends! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week! I’ve been getting back into the teaching routine after spring break, and things are getting busy as the school year draws to a close. My students are prepping for a recital, and it’s so fun to be on the teaching side of a performance. Apart from work, my week was full of spending time with friends, working on YouTube content, #nationalstripesday, and recovering from last week’s cold. Spring has arrived in Little Rock, and I’m so starting to look forward to switching my wardrobe over for the warmer weather. I’ve collected a few new pieces for my spring capsule, and I’m so excited to share them with you all! For now, it’s time for another round of weekend links.

This week’s links range from costume design to blush pink nail polish– read on!

-This soft blush nail polish from Deborah Lippmann is so pretty, and I’d love to try it out for the spring!

-Rifle Paper Co. kitchen gear? Yes please! I love this oven mitt and apron from Anthropologie.

-I really enjoyed reading this article about the costume design process for La La Land. It’s always fun to hear about a designer’s inspiration, and I just loved Emma Stone’s dresses in the film.

-I’ve been spending a little too much time stalking vintage dresses on Etsy lately, and this 1960s number is just darling.

-Be sure to catch up on this week’s YouTube videos! I posted a Chicago haul as well as a travel and outfit vlog this week, and I’d love for you to check them out!

What are you all up to this weekend? I’d love to hear!
