The Weekender // No. 7

The Year of CozyHi friends! I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend, and are well rested for a productive week ahead! I’ve been a little silent around here lately because I’m starting a new job this week, which I am so so excited about! I still plan to blog regularly, I’ve just been taking a little time to work on adjusting my schedule. I’ll be teaching piano at a local school in addition to having my own private students, and I’m so thrilled to have the opportunity to share my love of music. This week has been spent with friends and family, planning lessons, many coffee dates, working on my autumn capsule wardrobe, and a bit of sewing even! I think I can safely say that I’m loving post-grad life. It’s such a joy to have opportunities to be creative even in work.

Today is a beautifully rainy day that has me itching for autumn to arrive, so I’m curled up with some good coffee and my current knitting project (yes, still the same socks from January…I’m so slow!) One of my favorite books to flip through on days like today is The Year of Cozy by Adrianna Adarme. It’s full of lovely cozy ideas for each month of the year, and I always feel inspired after reading it.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who stopped by and followed my blog after Bloglovin’ was kind enough to mention me! I’m so excited to have you all here, and hope you will find something you enjoy among my content! I know I’m not the most polished blogger out there, so it means a lot to me that you would take the time to subscribe to what I create. 😀

For now, here are some links for your weekend:

-I love this post from A Beautiful Mess on procrastination in blogging. I totally relate to what they talk about here, and it’s great to find some inspiration to get that blogging work done!

-The Rifle Paper Co. fabric collection, Les Fleurs, is out, and you know I placed an order as soon as I got the email! I’ve already made something with it that I can’t wait to share, and I’ve plans for a couple more projects. If I’m honest, I just want a whole Rifle Paper Co. wardrobe. 😉

-I’m in full on fall capsule planning mode, as you may have seen on my Snapchat and Instagram Stories. Check out what’s inspiring me on my Pinterest board!

-If you click over to this article on work-wear from the ModCloth blog, you might spot a familiar face! 😉

-Have you guys watched the Wonder Woman trailer? I admit it. I’m excited. I mean, how cool is Gal Gadot?!

-Need a new fashion blog to read? I’m loving The Fashion Cuisine!

-I’ve been looking for some inspiration to get back into playing the violin, and I’m loving Daniel Jang’s covers.

That’s it for this week– hoping to be back and re-energized come Monday!
