Whole Foods Beauty Bag Review 2017

whole-foods-beauty-bag-review-2017Every year Whole Foods releases a makeup bag filled up with a curated selection of natural beauty and skincare products. The bags are a limited release, and this year’s version contains $90 worth of goodies for just $18! If you are looking to dip your toe into the world of natural and eco-friendly beauty, the beauty bag is an excellent and cost effective way to get started. The beauty bags go on sale on March 24th, and are available in Whole Foods stores while they last! Whole Foods was kind enough to let me test out a bag, so today I’ll be sharing what the bag includes and some mini reviews so you can be fully informed when you run to grab your bag!

This year’s bag contains a mixture of full size and mini products, as well as a variety of both makeup and skincare meaning there’s something for everyone.

In the bag

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive (Mini)

Acure Pore Clarifying Red Clay Facial Mask (Full size, and my current favorite clay mask.)

Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner (Full size, and has a lovely rose scent– plus the packaging is gorgeous!)

evanhealy Wild Carrot Nourishing Eye Balm (Full size)

Trilogy CoQ10 Booster Oil (Mini, gorgeous hydrating facial oil. I’m tempted to get the full size!)

Weleda Soothing Facial Lotion (Mini, a really nice lightweight moisturizer.)

Dermae Hydrating Night Creme (Mini, moisturizing, but not too heavy.)

Whole Foods Market Peony Mint Blackberry Hand Cream (Full size, I love the scent of this one, and I’m sure it’s destined to be a handbag staple!)

Pacifica Devocean Tenderness Lipstick (Full size, very moisturizing and the prettiest pink color.)

Mineral Fusion Volumizing Mascara (Full size, gives good volume and separation.)

Finally, there’s the bag itself which was designed and made by Piece & Co. using organic cotton. Piece & Co. is a socially and environmentally responsible company seeking to empower communities while making beautiful fabrics. I love the shades of blue and the fun tassel detail, and I can’t wait to use it for travel in future!

Overall, I think the bag is a great introduction to some amazing brands, and I highly recommend running out to your local store to grab one tomorrow!

Have you tried any of these brands? Will you be picking up a beauty bag this year? I’d love to hear!
